Let me start by saying that this is not a restaurant review. I wouldn’t have come up with this post if it wasn’t for the Hot Molten Chocolate I sipped at this another cozy cafe in the by-lanes of Koregaon Park.
As one can guess, I was in a state of bliss with the last remains of the chocolate in this cup. By far I had really admired the Mint Chocolate served at Grandmama’s Cafe however the one served with Marshmallows at The French Window Patisserie swiftly took the spot.
Coming to the cafe, it is a cozy open air cafe located in a green and quiet lane of Koregaon Park.
Menu is limited but based on what we tried that morning, we found the food delicious and presentable. On inquiring what’s their Special for the day, the manager grinned and “claimed” that everything is. Quite weird because they have a special menu chalked out right at the entrance. ( Too bad we noticed it while leaving 😁, anyways).
Mushroom sandwich was tasty and filling. Veg Quiche Platter was cute and quite good. They served the quiche in mini tarts and we liked the crisp and different flavours. Would still prefer the Quiche served at Le Flamington, Kalyani Nagar.
Cappuccino was okay, nothing special about it. However one of the very few cafes in Koregaon Park that serve a under 100₹ Cappuccino.
Ambiance is green and relaxing. We liked the quiet even when the place was mostly occupied. Prices overall are on the higher side and why not, another KP cafe charging decent for the quality and served flavors.
Next time we plan to visit them for their desserts and hope they do suggest some “Specials” 😉
